A gennaio ci vediamo a Ravenna!?

Ravenna – Patrimonio UNESCO dal 1996 – in tutto il mondo è riconosciuta per la sua bellezza artistica e architettonica: dall’inizio del I millennio divenne città imperiale dove “…edifici, basiliche, mausolei, tutto doveva esprimere ricchezza e autorità, fascino e potere, e rispondere alle esigenze della nuova corte …della nuova capitale dell’Impero Romano d’Occidente”. Nel centro storico, vicoli in pietra ci guidano tra case basse, piazze e prati urbani, dove l’architettura si fa scrigno d’arte: il più grande patrimonio musivo del Mondo Antico (V e VI sec.D.C.) da visitare passeggiando a piedi o in bicicletta.

Ravenna – UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996 – is worldwide known for its artistic and architectural beauty: from the beginning of the 1st millennium it became an Imperial city where “…buildings, basilicas, mausoleums, everything had to express wealth and authority, charm and power, to meet the needs of the new… capital of the Western Roman Empire.” (follow the paths to UNESCO monuments)

In the old city center, stone alleys guide us through low houses, squares and urban meadows, where architecture becomes a treasure trove of art: the greatest mosaic heritage of the Ancient World (5th and 6th centuries A.D.) to be visited by walking or cycling.
